My husband is a cat person.  I'm not so much.  Cleo, our Brittany, is getting older and she's been Matt's baby for a long time.  When she moves on, we probably won't get another dog as Saffron is still very young.  However, Matt really wants a cat.....so badly that he has even promised to take care of the litter box (I personally thought I'd rather muck a horse's stall than clean a litter box).  Our opportunity came last night when someone alerted us to a stray kitten living near a building on post.  We found him last night and Matt managed to get him into a little crate. I am embarassed to admit that, after writing an essay in seventh grade entitled 'Why I Hate Cats', I'm in love.  He is very affectionate and playful.  We haven't had him for 24hrs and he's able to use the litter box appropriately and wander the house.  No problems holding him or playing with him as he's very gentle (well.....except when Matt put him in the crate, but I blame Matt).  The vet pronounced him 100% health this afternoon and guessed that he was 8 wks old.

As for the name, we decided that the best name for a black cat was Lucky.

Santino came to Mommys work and got a haircut. We are getting all clean cut so he can be our handsome ring boy! Now that he is getting older he is starting to behave a lot better when he gets his haircut by Lisa D. We have been telling him that mommy and daddy are going to get married. And he says "Ok Mommy and Daddy go get married"! He is so cute.

Yesterday I ran across a great article that looks at the changing shape to sports as it pertains to rising oil prices. It's an outstanding piece that details how dependent athletics is to cheap oil. I love going to games and seeing top talent play for my team, but those things are seriously strained when (1) you can't go to a game because it cost too much and (2) my team can't recruit top talent because it costs too much for them to visit other regions.

Anyways, I think this pertains to the values of FanSpan and what we are trying to do. By grouping people regionally by team, hopefully we can get close to reaching the experience we get by being there.

I like the word Loyalty it means the difference between a man and a mouse , Loyalty is important to give to others but being Loyal to your self is also vitel, you must be Loyal to your self so you won't half ass your work out or what ever else it is your doing, Loyalty is very important to every body as it should be

I have found out over the years I have WWE/WWF why certain people enjoy a heel here and there. Over the past summer I've started to grow an interest in the likes of M.V.P.(Montel Vontavious Porter), John Morrison, and The Miz. The reason why I like them is because they can pull off the gimmick very well and I'm pretty sure that's why you like them. I mean I still cheer for the faces but who doesn't. But now I'm starting to cheer for the heels and I can thank Mr. Kennedy for that. What I mean is when Mr. Kennedy debuted in the WWE he was a cocky, arrogant man and he knew how to pull it off.

I'me getting more and more worried about Gustav.  I've been told that I may have to evacuate and I'm kind of scared.  I mean, it's not so much losing my belongings, but trying to get my ritual items to my parent's house and keeping them hidden, I hate to admit it, but my parents don't know that I don't have the same beliefs they do....they're very close minded and it hurts to see that in them.  I love them, but they want me to leave New Orleans because "it's a sinful place where not everyone is a good christian"......I don't know what to do, I mean, if the storm misses us, I'll be fine, if it comes right for us, I have to evacutate to Alabama....to the bible belt.  The Goddess usually has a way of taking a horrible situation and making it into something great, but I'm begining to wonder how this will work, I just hope she doesn't send me there for long if I have to go.  Here's hoping that the Goddess keeps me safe, no matter where I am.

Hey Everyone,  I haven't had the time to talk to you in awhile. I'm a college student and am really busy with classes. Culinary Arts is my major and this is my third semester. I have been buying fabric and craft supplies for the last month so that when I do have some free time I will have eomething to work on. I have my Christmas project all done. I just have to buy or make something for my grandchildren. I haven't quite decided what to do for them yet. I found some really good buys on plaid wool for skirts for the winter months. I am looking for something differenty. I'm tired of wearing the same thing over and over.  Happy crafting/sewing, KIm

me parece increible como pasan las cosas aqui en rep.dom siempre queremos poner candado despues que nos han robado.

a esto sedeben muchas de las tragedias que nos han ocurrido como el reciente caso de las ocho personas que murieron en el derrumbe en guachupita pero la verdad es que si todos tomaramos conciencia y realizaramos acciones concretas para prevenir cosas como estas serian muchas las desgracias que hubieramos evitado solo espero que esta triste situasion nos sirva de leccion para evitar otras desgracias que podrin ocurrir si no hacemos algo para impedirlo.
